Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of ReignFree Trivia ("ReignFree", "we", "us"), operated by SwanSky Creatives LLC. By creating an account, hosting a room, joining a room, or otherwise using ReignFree, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines.

The service

ReignFree is a party-trivia and game platform where hosts create ready-made or custom trivia rounds and players join rooms by code or QR code. You may create custom trivia rounds from topics you supply. Custom rounds are generated or assisted by AI systems and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate despite safeguards; review generated content before relying on it.

Alpha status

ReignFree is provided as-is during early alpha / public testing. Features may change, break, or be removed. Rooms, packs, scores, and other data may occasionally be lost during maintenance. Do not rely on ReignFree for anything mission-critical.

Who can use ReignFree (13+)

ReignFree is a general-audience party trivia product intended for players 13 and older. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly create accounts for them. Where ReignFree is used for education, training, or any group setting, the account holder must be an adult — a teacher, parent, trainer, or organizer — who reviews the questions and supervises play. Guests can join a hosted room without creating an account.

Your account

• You are responsible for the security of your account credentials.
• You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.
• You must be at least 13 years old and old enough in your jurisdiction to agree to these Terms. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree on your behalf.

Acceptable use

You agree that you will not use ReignFree to submit, generate, publish, or share content that is:

• Illegal, or facilitates illegal activity.
• Hateful, harassing, or that targets a person or group on the basis of a protected characteristic.
• Sexually explicit, especially any content that sexualizes minors.
• Exploitative, doxxing, or that exposes private personal information without consent.
• Encouraging self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders.
• Extremist praise, recruitment, or terrorist propaganda.
• Detailed instructions for weapons, explosives, or other dangerous activities.
• Infringing on any copyright, trademark, publicity, privacy, or other right.

You also agree not to attempt to bypass safety filters, reverse engineer the service, scrape data at scale, run automated abuse, or disrupt other users' games.

User content

You retain ownership of the topics, context, custom questions, and other content you submit ("User Content"). You grant SwanSky Creatives LLC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, modify, and display your User Content solely to operate, secure, and improve ReignFree, and — for content you explicitly publish to a pack wall — to display it to other players.

Third-party names and franchises

ReignFree is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any third-party franchise, fandom, brand, show, film, video game, sports league, celebrity, or rights holder that users may reference in custom topics. All third-party names, trademarks, and characters belong to their respective owners and are used only as user-supplied subject matter for trivia questions.

Paid plans and billing

ReignFree offers optional paid plans: a one-time 24-hour Day Pass ($1.99) and a recurring Monthly Max subscription ($5/month). Current options and features are listed on our Pricing page. Prices are in US dollars and exclude any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

• Where you buy matters. Purchases made on the ReignFree website are processed by Stripe and governed by these Terms. If we later offer purchases inside a mobile app store, those purchases are processed by that store under its own terms and its refund rules apply.
• Renewals. Monthly Max renews automatically each month until cancelled. The Day Pass does not renew and expires 24 hours after purchase.
• Cancelling. You can cancel Monthly Max at any time from Profile → Manage subscription, which opens the Stripe billing portal. Access continues through the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds. See our Refund Policy. The Day Pass is non-refundable once purchased.
• Changes. We may change plan pricing or features. For recurring plans, changes take effect on the next billing period after we notify you.
• Failed payments. If a payment fails or is reversed, we may suspend paid features until the balance is resolved.

Copyright and DMCA

We respond to valid copyright notices and repeat-infringer reports. If you believe content on ReignFree infringes your copyright, follow the process on our Copyright & DMCA page. We may remove content and terminate accounts of repeat infringers.

Reporting content

Use the in-product "Report content" control on packs and rooms, or email support@reignfree.dev, to report content that violates these Terms or our Community Guidelines. We review reports and may act without prior notice.

Moderation and enforcement

We may, at our discretion and without prior notice, remove content, block topics, refuse generation, reject pack publication, suspend or terminate accounts, or limit access to the service to protect players, comply with law, or enforce these Terms.

Google Play distribution

If you obtained ReignFree from the Google Play Store, the following also applies: these Terms are between you and SwanSky Creatives LLC only, not Google. Google is not responsible for the app or its content, has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for it, and is not responsible for addressing any claim you or a third party has relating to the app. Your use of the app must also comply with the Google Play Terms of Service. Google is a third-party beneficiary of this section and may enforce it. Digital purchases and refunds made through Google Play are governed by Google Play's terms and refund policy; purchases made on our website are governed by these Terms and our Refund Policy.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SwanSky Creatives LLC and its affiliates, officers, employees, and service providers from any claims, damages, liabilities, and reasonable legal fees arising out of your User Content, your use of the service, or your breach of these Terms.

Availability

We do not guarantee that ReignFree will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at any specific time. We may suspend or discontinue any part of the service at any time.

Disclaimer of warranties

ReignFree is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SwanSky Creatives LLC and its affiliates, officers, employees, and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of ReignFree. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the greater of USD $50 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute not resolved informally will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Colorado, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Nothing here limits rights you have under mandatory consumer-protection laws in your country of residence. Please contact us first at support@reignfree.dev — most issues are resolved quickly.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, communicated in-app.
